Detective/Sergeant Eric Sligar began his professional career as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps in 1994. Eric Sligar began his career with the Parkville Police Department as a police officer in 2001. Eric Sligar advanced to the rank of Sergeant in 2005. Eric Sligar currently is assigned as the Commander/Supervisor of the Parkville Police Department Investigations Unit. Detective/Sergeant Sligar is a graduate of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department's 113th Entrant Officer Class. Sergeant Sligar is responsible for the implementation and management of special events in the City of Parkville, Missouri. Sergeant Sligar obtained his Bachelor of Criminal Justice Degree from Central Missouri State University. Sergeant Sligar is a graduate of the Army of War College in Leavenworth, Kansas.
