Chief Hudson began his professional career as a Marine in the United states Marine Corps in 1964. Chief Hudson served in Vietnam before beginning his law enforcement career with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department in 1968. Chief Hudson served as a Major/Commander of the Kansas City Missouri Police Department East Patrol Division, North Patrol Division, Investigative Unit Division and Commander of the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT). Chief Hudson was nominated to serve as the Chief of the Parkville Police Department in 1994. Chief Hudson is a graduate of the FBI Academy and the Southern Police Institute. Chief Hudson earned his Master's of Public Administration Degree from Park University where he currently teaches as a Criminal Justice Professor.
