Going on vacation or a long trip? The Parkville Police Department provides services under the Community House Watch project at no charge to residents. Under this program, as calls for service allow an officer will stop by to check your residence or business, either visually as they drive by or else physically by walking the perimeter and checking doors and windows. If a problem should arise, we'll contact you or another responsible party that you have designated as a contact. Once we have confirmed your request, either by phone or email, your address will be assigned to the respective police district. Requester must be gone a minimum of three nights and four days. Maximum length of a house watch is three weeks. The Police Department does not accept keys to your home.
